This Hippopotamus painting is perfect for family virtual painting class fun! I’ll teach you all the steps and this one is really fun for the kiddos.
I am so excited to paint with you! In this new twist on The Original Paint Nite, you can enjoy the experience you know and love right from your house, and still have the banter of an in-person event.

This is a self-supply event, so you will need to purchase the materials in advance from DickBlick.com (my favorite), Amazon, or any craft store. Or you can substitute for materials you have in your home.
Acrylic paint (white, black, red, yellow, blue, and green)
*If you are using craft paint, grab the colors you see in the example painting.
Brushes (1” flat, a small brush for details, a ½” flat brush, and a medium round brush)
A canvas (12” x 16” work great or if you want to make something larger 16” x 20” is what I use for in-person events)
A cup with water
A paper plate
Paper towels
